Personally I grew up in the eighties and love music from that era, including some of the funky tunes from the seventies. I like to mix it up quite considerably in the earlier parts of the evening, trying to include all tastes and ages, until later when the atmosphere changes and the REAL party begins – then crowd response determines which direction I follow. Unlike club DJ’s, I play music to cater to the taste of the crowd in my own style, and NOT entirely my personal taste. Every attempt is made to cater for all and all types of music tastes (however bizarre) and I welcome requests as this is an indication that the crowd are willing to interact with you in addition to providing more insight into the tastes of the crowd. Every wedding/function is different and needs to be approached in that way. No function can be stereotyped, and no function can be play-listed. It is the responsibility of a professional DJ to interact with your crowd and play music accordingly..

Sound and lighting are critical elements in the success of an evening and an area in which I do not compromise, using complete JBL rig (18” subs and 15” eons), which in delivering absolute power, does so in a manner that does not sound loud. Two cordless microphones are available for use for any speeches. Totally independent PA systems may be provided for the church/service and drinks area (additional costs may charged depending on venues)

The final key element is lighting – Firstly to provide ambience, as well as atmosphere. Again this is an area in which I have not compromised, using an “intelligent” lighting rig which allows me to program all aspects of the lighting including colours and flashing. This is essential to vary ambience at different moments in the evening.
